The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference opened ceremoniously in Beijing. On March 27, the Science and Technology for Persons with Disabilities Forum, co-hosted by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Beijing Municipal Government and organized by the Beijing Disabled Persons’ Federation, was successfully held in Beijing. As a parallel forum that has been included in the annual Zhongguancun Forum for the second year, this edition was themed “Technology with Compassion, Co‑Creating a Better World.” It brought together participants to exchange ideas on advancing the research, development, and application of assistive technologies, as well as on fostering innovative scenarios for technology‑driven disability support. The event featured sessions such as the unveiling of exemplary innovation cases, keynote speeches, and roundtable discussions, continuing to build consensus and mobilize collective efforts to drive the innovative development of science and technology for persons with disabilities.

During the roundtable discussion, Mr. Zhao Yong, representing the company, shared his insights on practical explorations in the field of intelligent wheelchair robots, focusing on the company’s approaches to technological innovation, real-world validation, and industrial applications.
